Abstract

The clothes line frame, for drying laundry, has sliding arm carriers on a center pole (12). Two opposing arms (28a, 28b) are fitted with clothes line catches, which slide along the arms, according to the number of clothes line sections (44). The line catches slide along the arms as they are opened out, and folded together, to extend and collapse the clothes line as the assembly is deployed for use and folded away when not required.
