Abstract

A plastic window frame profile (7) is strengthened by a sheet metal lining (15). The profile bears the weight of a fitting (2) which is attached to the profile by a screw fixture with a wide bush (22) and a narrower screw thread (21) which engages with a hole in the sheet metal lining. The bush (22) is supported through a cavity (12) by transverse members (14, 13).
