Fig. 6 — 9 przedstawia¬ ja schematycznie widok róznych typów okien, do których dostosowana jest zaslona okienna.Rama okienna jest zaopatrzona wedlug wyna¬ lazku w glowice zaslony 5, która tworzy zarazem czesc ramy przebiegajaca wzdluz jednej krawe¬ dzi szyby. W przykladach, przedstawionych na fig. 6 17, rama sklada sie z czlona w ksztalcie U, a glowica zaslony rozciaga sie miedzy konca¬ mi jego ramion. Czlon w ksztalcie U moze miec przy wierzcholkach katy proste (fig. 6) lub za¬ okraglenia (fig. 7). 6 i 7 linia przerywana wskazuje sposób, w jaki glowica zaslony moze byc podnoszona i wyjmo¬ wana z przestrzeni miedzy szybami wraz z po¬ zostalymi czesciami zaslony.Zaslona, zwieszajaca siez glowicy, moze sie skla¬ dac z plytek oraz tasm 18. Górne konce tych ostatnich lacza sie z narzadami do nastawiania zaslony w postaci sznurków podtrzymujacych lub drutów 19. Sznurek podtrzymujacy przecho¬ dzi przez szczeline 20 glowicy 5, ponadto zaslona posiada sznurek do podnoszenia.Fig. 1, 2 i 3 dotycza przykladu zastosowania, w którym glowica, podobna do przedstawionej na fig. 5, tworzy czesc wewnetrznej ramy okienne] okna zespolonego. Oznaczenia sa te same, co na fig. 5. Stosowtnie do fig. PL PLMany types of window sashes of various designs are available, as are various types of window coverings, such as Venetian blinds. Both window sashes and curtains are manufactured individually and constitute separate assemblies. Installing the curtains in windows takes place at different times, especially after painting and installing the sashes. This requires adapting the curtain to the dimensions of the window sashes and requires careful work due to the finished parts, which is cumbersome and expensive. The invention aims to simplify the construction of window sashes intended to be fitted with curtains by making the window sashes and the curtain head part of the assembly the same. This simplifies the manufacturing process, eliminating the need to make a separate curtain head or a separate, corresponding part of the window sash, and minimizes the work required to assemble the unit. Furthermore, the invention provides a window sash design that allows the curtain to be raised or lowered, ensuring maximum light from the window. According to the invention, the metal sash is provided with a blind head that forms, or rather replaces, part of the window sash along one edge of the glass pane, the head typically having an L- or U-shaped cross-section with slats adapted to completely or partially cover the blind when it is in the open or raised position. In the description of the invention, a blind head means that part of the blind that carries the blind tapes and slats or the pleated material or a corresponding part of another type of blind, and which is provided with a recess or compartment for various parts of the blind. The expression "window sash" means a movable part of the window mounted in the frame. A window frame is a stationary part mounted in an opening or wall and surrounding a movable window sash. A curtain head typically includes various curtain components, such as guide rollers, a mechanism for adjusting the tilt of the blind slats or similar parts to the desired angle, sliding mechanisms for covering and opening the curtain, and especially mechanisms for lowering and raising it. Particular manufacturing advantages are achieved by manufacturing both the window head and the remaining parts of the window sash from metal, particularly from sections of profiled metal. The same material is then used to manufacture the head as for the remaining parts of the sash, and the work in both cases is of the same nature. Furthermore, savings are achieved by replacing part of the window sash with a curtain head. Because the curtain head, according to the invention, forms part of the window sash, it must be shaped in relation to the rest of the sash. Therefore, it should have a strip that fits the frame and a strip for securing the glass. If necessary, the curtain head can be made removable from the rest of the sash. The curtain head can also be made of wood, metal, or any other material, regardless of the material used for the rest of the window. A particular advantage is achieved by connecting the curtain head to the window sash, three parts of which run along three sides of the window, forming a U-shape. This simplification allows the finished window sash, including the curtain head, to be assembled from just two main parts. Another advantage is achieved by connecting the curtain head to the L-shaped part of the window sash. Figures 1, 2, and 3 show vertical sections of the upper half of a window equipped with a curtain head. These sections are taken along the lines I-I, II-II, and III-III in Fig. 6. Figs. 4 and 5 show cross-sections of the head along the lines IV-IV in Fig. 7 and V-V in Fig. 7, 8 or 9. Figs. 6-9 schematically show views of various types of windows for which the window covering is adapted. According to the invention, the window frame is provided with a curtain head 5, which also forms part of the frame running along one edge of the pane. In the examples shown in Fig. 6-17, the frame consists of a U-shaped member, and the curtain head extends between the ends of its arms. The U-shaped member may have right angles at its apexes (Fig. 6) or roundings (Fig. 7). The curtain head forms the upper part of the frame in the examples in Figs. 6 and 7, but may also constitute a side part, as in Fig. 8. In Fig. 9, head 5 forms the upper part of the frame, which has a rounding at one of the lower apexes and a right angle at the other. The rounding is achieved by bending a section of profiled metal with a length corresponding to the sum of the lengths of the two sides. The example in Fig. 4 shows a single window. The curtain head is designated 5, and the corresponding part of the frame in which the window frame is placed, 6. The frame may be made of wood, metal, or any suitable material. The head is made of a section of profiled metal and has a retaining strip 11 which rests against the door frame 6, a strip or groove 10 for mounting the glass and a strip 16 behind which the cover 7 is partially hidden when it is raised. The strip 16 conceals the upper part of the curtain with a rotating shaft 21, line 3, placed on this shaft and used to adjust the curtain, and frames used to raise the curtain. The example shown in Fig. 5 differs from the example in Fig. 4 essentially in that the head 5 forms part of the inner frame of the combined window, the outer frame of which is designated by the number 12. The frame 12, made of metal, contains the glass pane 13, and the inner frame together with the head of the curtain 5 contains the glass pane 1{, the upper edge of which rests in the groove 10 of the head of the curtain. The frames are insulated from each other by a spacer 15, which covers the edge of the outer frame 12. The curtain head may be formed from a section of profiled metal with a mainly U-shaped or I-shaped cross-section. This section may be removable and for this purpose it is fastened by means of screws or other connecting devices to the side parts of the frame, which are also formed from profiled metal sections 17. In Figs. 6 and 7 the dashed line indicates the way in which the curtain head can be lifted and removed from the space between the panes together with the other parts of the curtain. The curtain hanging from the head may consist of plates and tapes 18. The upper ends of the latter are connected to the devices for adjusting the curtain in Figs. 7 and 8. The supporting cords or wires 19 are provided in the form of supporting cords or wires 19. The supporting cord passes through a slot 20 in the head 5, and the blind is furthermore provided with a lifting cord. Figs. 1, 2 and 3 refer to an example of application in which a head similar to the one shown in Fig. 5 forms part of the inner window frame of a combined window. The reference numbers are the same as in Fig. 5. According to Figs. 1-3, the supporting cord 19 of the adjusting device is guided in the blind head on rollers 2 and is neither placed on the rotating shaft nor in the guides 4 on one side of the sash, as in Fig. 1. The strip 24 on the other side of the blind carries a closing device 22 for stopping the lifting cord from being energised. The curtain panels can assume an inclined position, given to them by means of a cord 19, as shown in Figure 2 with solid lines, or a horizontal position, indicated by dashed lines.
