Abstract

The aim of the invention is to provide a device, which permits a counterweight to be securely and durably fixed at relatively low cost, for example on a household appliance, in particular a dishwasher or a kitchen range. Said aim is achieved, whereby a device is provided for fixing a counterweight, in which said counterweight (1) is arranged in a drawer-type recess (2), provided in a base and designed, such that the retention force, which is necessary for fixing, is substantially generated by deformable fixing lugs (3).
