Abstract
Układ reaktorowy składający się z dwóch lub więcej podziemnych reaktorów do wysokociśnieniowej obróbki materiałów. Każdy reaktor ma rurę wlotową, obszar reakcji i rurę wylotową wystarczająco głęboką dla materiału w rurach wlotowej i wylotowej do wytworzenia znaczącego ciśnienia hydrostatycznego. Reaktory są przystosowane do wymiany ciepła, która może mieć miejsce poprzez wspólną ściankę przenoszenia ciepła lub wymiennik ciepła z cyrkulującą cieczą. Wynalazek obejmuje także sposób jednoczesnego prowadzenia dwóch procesów w układzie reaktorowym. Korzystne procesy stanowią hydrotermalne odwadnianie węgla, zwłaszcza węgla brunatnego i upłynnianie węgla, w których ciepło z jednego egzotermicznego procesu jest wykorzystane w innym procesie. Wynalazek obejmuje także sposób hydrotermalnego odwadniania węgla prowadzonego w podziemnym reaktorze w warunkach zmniejszającego się ciśnienia.
