Description

Istota wynalazku polega na zastosowaniu do garbowania skór brzeczek chromowo-glinowych otrzymywanych wedlug patentu nr 34919, o okreslonym stosunku ilosciowym: Cr*Os : AhOs = 1,2 : 0,1 — 0,4 i zasadowosci okolo 40° Schrl. . . 200% o temperaturze 35—37°C kwasu solnego . 0,1—0,3% kwasu mlekowego 0,8—1,2% melasy . . . 0,4% w stosunku do wagi skóry. Wy¬ plukane skóry przerzuca sie do bebna i podda¬ je piklowaniu przy uzyciu: wody . 100% soli kuchennej 10% kwasu siarkowego ..... 0,5—0,8% w stosunku do wagi skóry.Czas obracania skór w kapieli piklujacej 1 1/2 — 2 godzin. Stosowana w sposobie wedlug wynalazku brzeczke chromowo-glinowa sporzadza sie w na¬ stepujacy sposób: Do roztworu wodnego zawierajacego 100 kg dwuchromianu sodowego w mieszaninie z 50 kg siarczanu glinowego wprowadza sie 79 kg kwa¬ su siarkowego o 66°Be, a nastepnie mieszanine te redukuje sie 40 kg melasy. PL PLChrome-aluminum tanning methods are known, involving the use of aluminum salt tanning and retanning with chrome worts. There are also single-bath tanning methods using chrome-aluminum worts obtained by mixing chrome wort with basic aluminum salts. Methods are also known that use chlorine salts for tanning and alkaline aluminum compounds for retanning. However, the existing methods of economical chromium-aluminum tanning produce a flat, hollow, and lamellar product that requires more intensive greasing and is very difficult to finish. The essence of the invention consists in using chromium-aluminum worts obtained according to patent no. 34919 for tanning hides, with a specific quantitative ratio: Cr*Os : AhOs = 1.2 : 0.1—0.4 and an alkalinity of approximately 40° Schrl. Worts of this type exhibit *) The patent owner has declared that the inventor of the invention is Wiktor Lasek, M.Sc. Specific properties: They enable very high chromium utilization from the tanning bath, making it possible to tan using approximately 50% of the chromium salts, sulfuric acid, and molasses used in conventional chrome tanning. Compared to conventional chrome liquors, they produce fuller leathers with a tighter grain structure. Compared to other chrome-aluminum tanning methods, they produce a finished product that is soft, flexible, and full, requiring little greasing, and whose finishing is not difficult. Example: Calfskins preserved in wet-salt preservation, after normal processing in the wet workshop, are delimed using: water... 200% hydrochloric acid at a temperature of 35-37°C. 0.1-0.3% lactic acid 0.8-1.2% molasses . . . 0.4% by weight of the hide. Hydrochloric acid is poured in a 1:10 dilution in two portions every 2 minutes. The lactic acid mixture with molasses is stirred in two portions every 3-5 minutes. After approximately 10 minutes of deliming, 0.4-0.7% pickling agent (e.g., garbon) is added to the deliming bath and pickled for 20-30 minutes. After pickling, the hide should show almost complete decalcification in cross-section using the phenolphthalein test. The rinsed hides are transferred to a drum and pickled using: water. 100% common salt 10% sulfuric acid ..... 0.5-0.8% of the skin weight. The skins are turned in the pickling bath for 1 1/2-2 hours. The pickled skins are tanned in a bath composed of: used pickling bath 50% chrome-aluminum liquor containing 120 g CnOa per liter and 20 g AteOs per liter 40° Schrl. 5% of the skins are turned in 2 hours, and then a further 5% chrome-aluminum liquor of the above composition is added. After 2 hours of tumbling, the tanning bath is neutralized with 0.2% soda ash, and the hides are then tumbed for an additional 1–2 hours, after which they are left in the tanning bath overnight. The next day, an additional 0.2–0.3% soda ash is added and tumbed for 1–2 hours. After this time, the hides demonstrate resistance to the boiling test. The tanned hides are placed on racks and left for at least 3–4 days, after which they are subjected to normal further processing, such as wringing, sorting, planing, rinsing, neutralizing, and dyeing. An essential feature of chrome-aluminum tanning is the use of 0.5-2.0% natural tanning agent (sumac, gambier, wicker) or 0.5-3.0% synthetic tanning agent or an anionic tamoi-type equalizing agent in the final tanning phase. Treatment of hides with vegetable tanning agent must be applied before the fatliquoring process. Further finishing operations do not differ from those used in purely chrome tanning. The chrome-aluminum liquor used in the method according to the invention is prepared as follows: 79 kg of 66°Be sulfuric acid is added to an aqueous solution containing 100 kg of sodium dichromate mixed with 50 kg of aluminum sulfate, and then the mixture is reduced with 40 kg of molasses. After reduction, the wort is diluted with water to 40° Be. With the above-mentioned substrate composition, a wort containing approximately 120 g CnOz per liter and 20 g Al2O3 per liter is obtained, with an alkalinity of approximately 36-40° Be. The wort is clear and does not produce sediment upon dilution with water.
