Abstract

The invention relates to a band for doors, windows and the like, comprising at least one frame band part (1) and at least one leaf band part (2), wherein at least one of the band parts (2) can be fixed to a profile wall (7) of the frame or the leaf by a fixing shank (5). The band also includes a device (10) for adjusting the position of the frame (R) or leaf (F) relative to the fixing shank (5), wherein a projecting element (20) is provided in the fixing shank (5) of the band part which engages in the gap, said projecting element extending from the fixing shank (5) in the direction of the profile wall (7) of the frame of leaf.
