Abstract

Wynalazek dotyczy sposobu wytwarzania estrów alkilowych wyższych kwasów tłuszczowych, polegającego na reakcji transestryfikacji triglicerydów alkoholem, w obecności katalizatora i przy nadmiarze alkoholu do triglicerydów, a następnie rozdzieleniu mieszaniny poreakcyjnej i oddestylowaniu nadmiaru alkoholu. Istotą wynalazku jest to, że reakcję transestryfikacji prowadzi się w temperaturze od 288K do 353K, pod ciśnieniem atmosferycznym, w czasie od 0,3 godziny do 5 godzin, przy stosunku molowym triglicerydów do alkoholu co najmniej 1:14, korzystnie 1:18, w atmosferze gazu obojętnego, przy czym rozdzielanie mieszaniny poreakcyjnej prowadzi się wielokrotnie, a w trakcie destylacji oddziela się frakcje azeotropowe. Wynalazek znajduje zastosowanie zwłaszcza w produkcji komponentów paliw silnikowych i surowców bioodnawialnych dla przemysłu chemicznego, na przykład detergentów.
