Abstract
Stałe nośniki tlenu, wykorzystywane w procesach spalania i/lub zgazowania paliw w układzie chemicznej pętli tlenkowej, uzyskuje się z popiołów pochodzących z procesów termicznej obróbki nadmiarowych osadów z wód lub ścieków, o uziarnieniu poniżej 2 mm, korzystnie < 0,5 mm, posiadających w swym składzie od 5 do 95% wag. tlenków metali przejściowych. Korzystnie popiół z nadmiarowych osadów ściekowych poddaje się wodnemu ługowaniu alkaliów w temperaturze wrzenia suspensji wodno-popiołowej, a następnie filtracji i wodnemu przemywaniu, dla uzyskania zawartości alkaliów w przeliczeniu na K2O + Na2O wynoszącej w produkcie ≤ 2,5% wag.
