Układ (100) do oddzielania dwutlenku węgla oraz gazu kwaśnego od gazu syntezowego, zawiera obwód oczyszczania gazu syntezowego (102) zawierający co najmniej jedną kolumnę absorpcyjną (108), połączoną połączeniem przepływowym z zasilaniem rozpuszczalnika ubogiego i zawiera obwód usuwania dwutlenku węgla (104), podłączony za obwodem oczyszczania gazu syntezowego (102). Obwód usuwania dwutlenku węgla (104) zawiera co najmniej jeden element składowy, który ułatwia usuwanie dwutlenku węgla z rozpuszczalnika po przejściu przez rozpuszczalnik przez obwód oczyszczania gazu syntezowego.
