Naczepa siodłowa charakteryzuje się tym, że zawiera ramię nośną, którą zasadniczo tworzą dwie podłużnice (2), osadzoną na zestawie kół jezdnych i zaopatrzoną w przedniej części w panel przedni (4), który zawiera płytę sprzęgu oraz przedłużenia podłużnic ramy. Panel przedni (4), utworzony jest z płyty ślizgowej (5) oraz poprzecznego wzmocnienia (6) tworzących płytę sprzęgu, osadzonych w widłach ramy. Płyta ślizgowa (5), stanowi jeden element formowany przestrzennie przez zginanie.
