Wynalazek rozwiazuje zagadnienie ograniczenia niekontrolowanych spadków poziomu cukru u chorych na cukrzyce, w szczególnosci w czasie snu, w godzinach 22-04 rano, poprzez kontrolowane, rozlozone w czasie uwalnianie glukozy, przez co zasila sie organizm w ciagu 5-6 godzin glukoza. Istota wynalazku polega na zastosowaniu mieszaniny chronionej glukozy wraz z niechroniona krystaliczna glukoza i maltodektryna w zywieniu chorych na cukrzyce.
