Kondensator elektrochemiczny pracujacy w roztworach dihydroksybenzenów charakteryzuje sie tym, ze elektroda dodatnia (4) usytuowana jest w elektrolicie (1), którym jest mieszanina dwóch roztworów: 1 mol L-1 H2SO4 i 0,38 mol L-1 1,2-dihydroksybenzenu, których rozpuszczalnikiem jest woda, natomiast elektroda ujemna (3) usytuowana jest w elektrolicie (2), którym jest mieszanina dwóch roztworów: 1 mol L-1 H2SO4 i 0,38 mol L-1 1,4-dihydroksybenzenu, których rozpuszczalnikiem jest woda. Kondensator tego rodzaju znajduje zastosowanie jako urzadzenie do magazynowania energii.
