Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania nilotinibu, w którym 3-(4-(pirydyn-3-ylo)-pirymidyno-2-yloamino 4-metylobenzamid o wzorze 5 poddaje sie reakcji z 1-[3-bromo-5-(trifluorometylo)-fenylo]-4-metylo-1H-imidazolem, a otrzymany nilotinib ewentualnie przeksztalca sie w sól addycyjna. Wynalazek obejmuje takze zwiazek o wzorze 5 oraz jego zastosowanie do syntezy nilotinibu.The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of nilotinib in which 3- (4- (pyridin-3-yl) -pyrimidine-2-ylamino 4-methylbenzamide of formula 5 is reacted with 1- [3-bromo-5- (trifluoromethyl) - phenyl] -4-methyl-1H-imidazole, and the obtained nilotinib optionally transforms into an addition salt The invention also includes the compound of formula 5 and its use for the synthesis of nilotinib.
