Abstract

Pocisk kulowy do broni o lufie gwintowanej, posiadający korpus o kształcie wydłużonej bryły obrotowej charakteryzuje się takim wyprofilowaniem korpusu, że jego dolna część (1) ma kształt cylindra o średnicy równej kalibrowi pocisku, przy czym w odległości od podstawy równej około 1/10 długości pocisku średnica stopniowo zmniejsza się, tworząc przewężenie korpusu (2) w odległości równej około 1/4 długości pocisku od dolnej podstawy, a następnie zwiększa się stopniowo do wielkości równej średnicy cylindra dolnej części, którą osiąga w odległości równej około 2/3 długości pocisku, po czym przyjmuje kształt paraboloidy obrotowej, tworząc głowicę. Pocisk wyposażony jest na zewnętrznym obwodzie w co najmniej dwa pierścienie (3, 4) z tworzywa sztucznego lub metalu, z których jeden umieszczony jest w dolnej części pocisku, a drugi na 1/3 długości od wierzchołka głowicy. Pierścienie są umieszczone w zagłębieniach na zewnętrznej powierzchni korpusu tak, że korpus pocisku z umieszczonymi na nim pierścieniami stanowi na zewnątrz jednolitą gładką bryłę.
