Abstract
The subject of the invention is a ballistic-masking shield, intended especially for officers of special uniformed services performing tasks in combat conditions. The shield provides protection against bullets from firearms and debris and other sharp objects as well as hinders its positioning enabling the user maximum closeness and / or long-term observation of objects. The shield has a rectangular shape curved transversely into a smooth hatch. The rounded edges are finished with a "C" shaped band (4). The inside of the shield is a ballistic coat (5) permanently connected to the cover (6). On the middle inner side of the disc there is a foam shock absorbing cap (7) and a handle (8) in the form of a pipe bent in a pole. The handle (8) is connected to the ballistic cloak (5) by bolts through the feet with which the spacer sleeves (13) are terminated. The cover (6) is made of a fabric made of synthetic fibers or a blend of synthetic fibers made of cotton which has the ability to mask in VIS and IR.
