Przedmiotem wynalazku jest wyizolowane białko zawierające wspólny epitop rozpoznawany przez przeciwciała krwi pępowinowej o swoistości anty enterobakteryjnej, występujące w ekstrakcie bakteryjnych białek błony zewnętrznej oraz jego fragmenty zawierające ten wspólny epitop, nadające się do stosowania w medycynie i farmacji, zwłaszcza do produkcji szczepionek i testów diagnostycznych oraz materiałów powinowactwa.
