Abstract
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest katalizator Ru/Pd/C, zwłaszcza do elektroutleniania kwasu mrówkowego, zawierający pallad i ruten osadzony na nośniku węglowym, w którym to katalizatorze Ru/Pd/C, nominalny stosunek atomowy rutenu do palladu zawarty jest w zakresie od 0,2 do 1,5, gdzie ruten występuje w postaci metalicznej nie tworząc stopu z palladem. Katalizator ten sam się aktywuje poprzez samorzutne oscylacje napięcia ogniwa niewymagające doprowadzania energii z układu zewnętrznego. Ponadto wynalazek obejmuje sposób otrzymywania katalizatora Ru/Pd/C, jego zastosowanie do elektroutleniania kwasu mrówkowego w ogniwach paliwowych zasilanych kwasem mrówkowym, oraz takie ogniwo paliwowe na kwas mrówkowy.
