Abstract
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób mikrobiologicznego oczyszczania biogazu powstającego w procesie fermentacji metanowej osadów organicznych w zbiorniku fermentacyjnym, polegający na usuwaniu zanieczyszczeń, zwłaszcza H2S, w warunkach beztlenowych z wykorzystaniem instalacji opatrzonej w biofiltr wypełniony złożem biologicznym zraszanym pożywką mineralną, który zawiera immobilizowane mikroorganizmy zdolne do rozkładu związków siarki. Sposób charakteryzuje się tym, że złoże biologiczne zrasza się pożywką w postaci roztworu zawierającego azotany soli metali alkalicznych I i II grupy układu okresowego, przy czym stężenie jonów azotanowych w pożywce zawiera się w granicach od 20 do 2500 mg/l, podczas gdy stężenie doprowadzanego do instalacji H2S wynosi 100 - 3000 ppm.
