Osnowę polimerową kompozytu stanowi polietylen, a czynnikiem bakteriobójczym jest krzemian miedzi, mający zastosowanie do produkcji specjalnego rodzaju opakowań, poręczy itp. Kompozyt polietylenu o właściwościach bakteriobójczych, charakteryzuje się tym, że kompozyt składa się z osnowy i wypełnienia, przy czym osnowa jest korzystnie z polietylenu, a wypełnienie stanowi czynnik bakteriobójczy, którym jest krzemian miedzi (CuO SiO2), a jego zawartość waha się od 0,1 do 40% wagowych, korzystnie od 2 do 8% wagowych.The present invention relates to a polyethylene composite with bactericidal properties. The polymer matrix of the composite is polyethylene, and the bactericidal agent is copper silicate, which is used for the production of a special type of packaging, handrails, etc. and the filling is a bactericidal agent, which is copper silicate (CuO SiO2), and its content ranges from 0.1 to 40% by weight, preferably from 2 to 8% by weight.
