Abstract
Tomograf hybrydowy TOF-PET/CT zawiera komorę detekcyjną, detektory promieniowania gamma, detektory promieniowania rentgenowskiego oraz ruchome źródło promieniowania rentgenowskiego. Detektory promieniowania gamma (150) oraz detektory promieniowania rentgenowskiego (170) otaczają komorę detekcyjną (102) na całym obwodzie komory detekcyjnej (102), przy czym detektory promieniowania gamma (150) umieszczone są bliżej podłużnej osi komory detekcyjnej (102) niż detektory promieniowania rentgenowskiego (170), przy czym detektory promieniowania gamma (150) zawierają polimerowe paski (151) z materiału scyntylacyjnego o gęstości mniejszej niż gęstość materiału scyntylacyjnego detektorów promieniowania rentgenowskiego (171).
