Na zewnatrz oslony rurowej 1 przyspawane sa obrecze 2 ulatwiajace toczenie transformatora zaopatrzone w otwory do umocowania przesuw¬ nych uchwytów nosnych 3, sluzacych do prze¬ noszenia transformatora. The lightweight portable welding transformer according to the invention has a casing structure specially adapted for its transport in hard-to-reach places, especially in coal faces. The construction of the welding transformer according to the invention is 1 shows a longitudinal section of the transformer, and Fig. 2 shows its cross-section. This transformer has a winding placed on a ring iron core. The primary winding is adapted to be switched on to voltages 220, 380 and 540. V. The transformer core 10, together with the windings, is located at oslo- *) The patent owner has stated that the inventor is Emanuel Paliga. not made of a section of a pipe 1 of a suitable diameter, the outlets of which are covered on both sides with circular covers 4, 5. These covers, provided with ventilation openings, are fitted with devices for supplying and discharging electric current. The covers 4, 5 are placed at a certain distance from the ends of the protective tube 1 so that the fittings fixed on them are not exposed to mechanical damage during transport. On the outside of the tube cover 1, hoops 2 are welded to facilitate turning of the transformer and provided with holes for fastening the sliding carrying handles 3 for carrying the transformer. These holders are best made of pipes. On the cover 4 there is a socket 7 for connecting the voltage from the mains and a plate 6 with taps for voltage regulation in the ranges 540 - 520 - 500 - 480 V. On the cover 5 there is a plate 8 with secondary winding terminals for 30 - 40 - 50V and 200A and a socket 9 for switching on the safety lamp. This transformer is convenient to carry, and in places with low ceilings it can be rolled on the spag. An electric motor stator may be used as the core of the transformer. PL
