Wynalazek dotyczy sposobu otrzymywania bicyklicznego laktonu nienasyconego polegający na tym, że w wyniku jednoetapowej reakcji dehydrohalogenacji z 7a-(1 -chlorobutylo)-3a,7,7-trimetyloheksahydrobenzo-furan-2-onu otrzymuje się 7a-((E)-but-1-enylo)-3a,7,7-trimetyloheksa-hydrobenzofuran-2-on, o wzorze 1. Bicykliczny lakton nienasycony, o wzorze 1, może znaleźć zastosowanie jako deterent pokarmowy w stosunku do szkodliwych gatunków owadów. The invention relates to a method for the preparation of a bicyclic unsaturated lactone in which a one-stage dehydrohalogenation reaction with 7- (1-chlorobutyl) -3a, 7,7-trimethylhexahydrobenzofuran-2-one produces 7a - ((E) -but- 1-enyl) -3a, 7,7-trimethylhexa-hydrobenzofuran-2-one, of formula 1. The unsaturated bicyclic lactone, of formula 1, may be used as a food detector for harmful insect species.
