Układ fizycznie nieklonowalnej funkcji zawiera przerzutnik (P), którego pierwsze wejście (Pi1) ma dołączone do wejścia cyfrowego (WC) układu poprzez programowalną linię opóźniającą (PLO1), a drugie wejście (Pi2) przerzutnik (P) ma dołączone do wejścia cyfrowego (WC) układu. Wyjście (Po1) przerzutnik (P) ma dołączone do wejścia (Di1) detektora metastabilności (D). Układ sterujący (US) ma wyjście sterujące (S1) dołączone do programowalnej linii opóźniającej (PLO1), a także do układu sterującego (US) dołączone jest wyjście informacyjne (Do) detektora metastabilności (D) i wejście zerujące (Dc) detektora metastabilności (D).
