Laminat metalowo - polimerowy typu tytan - kompozyt polimerowy charakteryzuje się tym, że składa się z 2 do 10 warstw stopu (1) tytanu o strukturze alfa i grubości od 0,1 do 1 mm, oraz od 1 do 9 warstw kompozytu (2) polimerowego wzmacnianego włóknami szklanymi ułożonego pomiędzy warstwami ze stopu tytanu o grubości nie większej niż 0,5 mm i w ilości wynikającej ze sposobu ułożenia.
