Przedmiotem wynalazku jest zapachowy 3-etoksy-6-mety1ocykloheks-2-en-1-on oraz sposób jego otrzymywania na drodze syntezy chemicznej z 4-metylo-1,3-cykloheksanodionu. Związek charakteryzuje się mało intensywnym, przyjemnym, słodkim, waniliowym zapachem. Wynalazek może znaleźć zastosowanie w przemyśle kosmetycznym jako składnik kompozycji zapachowych lub w przemyśle spożywczym jako aromatyczny dodatek do żywności.The subject of the invention is the fragrance 3-ethoxy-6-methyl-cyclohex-2-en-1-one and the method of its preparation by chemical synthesis from 4-methyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione. The relationship is characterized by a low-intensity, pleasant, sweet, vanilla fragrance. The invention may find use in the cosmetics industry as an ingredient in fragrance compositions or in the food industry as an aromatic food additive.
