Przedmiotem wynalazku jest zapachowy ester etylowy kwasu (6-metylo-2,3-epoksycykloheks-1-ylo) octowego o wzorze 2 oraz sposób jego otrzymywania na drodze syntezy chemicznej z estru etylowego kwasu (6-metylocykloheks-2-en-1-ylo) octowego o wzorze 1 (mieszanina diastereoizomerów) o intensywnym, przyjemnym, kwiatowym, słodkim zapachu. Wynalazek może znaleźć zastosowanie w przemyśle kosmetycznym jako składnik kompozycji zapachowych lub w przemyśle spożywczym jako aromatyczny dodatek do żywności.The subject of the invention is (6-methyl-2,3-epoxycyclohex-1-yl) acetic acid ethyl ester of formula 2 and a method for its preparation by chemical synthesis from (6-methylcyclohex-2-en-1-yl acid ester) ) acetic formula (mixture of diastereomers) with an intense, pleasant, floral, sweet aroma. The invention may find use in the cosmetics industry as an ingredient in fragrance compositions or in the food industry as an aromatic food additive.
