Sposób wytwarzania materiałów odniesienia przeznaczonych do kalibracji aparatury spektralnej i analizy mosiądzów w gatunku CW 710R i CW 713R polegający na wtapianiu do miedzi katodowej odpowiednich zawartości pierwiastków wchodzących w skład materiałów odniesienia, charakteryzuje się tym, że do pieca indukcyjnego tyglowego, wsaduje się miedź katodową i roztapia ją w tyglu szamotowo-grafitowym. Następnie kolejno do ciekłej miedzi w temperaturze 1270°C wtapia się nikiel elektrolityczny i stop wstępny w gatunku CuFe20, wytrzymuje w tej temperaturze przez ok. 15 minut mieszając kąpiel prętem grafitowym.
