Abstract
Wynalazek dotyczy techniki kodowania i dekodowania obrazu, przy czym sposób kodowania obrazu obejmuje etapy: wykonywanie predykcji względem bieżącego bloku oraz przekształcanie resztki, która jest generowana przez predykcję, przy czym w etapie przekształcania pierwsze przekształcenie jest wykonywane na resztce, a następnie drugie przekształcenie jest wykonywane na obszarze niższej częstotliwości, przy czym o trybie drugiego przekształcenia można zdecydować na podstawie trybu pierwszego przekształcenia.
