Abstract

The method of utilizing sewage sludge by composting them with the addition of dried grasses is characterized by the fact that sewage sludge in the amount of 40 - 50% by weight is mixed with shredded waste paper constituting shredded waste paper and waste paper in the amount of 10 - 20% by weight and with cut shredded dried grass in an amount of 30 - 40% by weight, vases with wood ash in an amount of 10 - 20% by weight. After mixing, the components are composted at 20 - 65 ° C, maintaining the moisture content of the composted mass within 40 - 60% for a period of 3 - 5 months. After recomposting, the organic fertilizer is enriched with potassium fertilizer in an amount of 0.5 - 5.0% by weight and used for fertilizing the soil.
