Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest system do określania kosztu zastosowania określonego typu kodowania w koderze wizyjnym. Koder wizyjny zawiera moduł arytmetycznego, adaptacyjnego kodowania kontekstowego (CABAC), zawierający moduł binaryzacji (102), przystosowany do mapowania elementu składni na ciągu bitów o zmiennej długości, przy czym cały strumień binów, występujący na wyjściu modułu binaryzacji, jest dzielony na pewną liczbę podstrumieni. System obejmuje ponadto: selektywnie stosowany tryb pracy, przystosowany do określania kosztu zastosowania typu kodowania we wspomnianym koderze wizyjnym; przy czym przy wybraniu wspomnianego trybu, system przystosowany jest do podania wspomnianych podstrumieni do modułu relacyjnej tabeli wyniku binaryzacji, przystosowanego do powiązania każdego podstrumienia z kosztem bitowym i do podania na wyjściu kosztu bitowego dla każdego podstrumienia. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest również sposób określenia kosztu zastosowania określonego typu kodowania w koderze wizyjnym.
