Turbina wiatrowa mająca wirnik z łopatami, charakteryzuje się tym, że wyposażona jest w ruchomą przesłonę (5) częściowo osłaniającą wirnik (4) z łopatami (3), zamocowaną obrotowo na wale (1) turbiny, na którym również obrotowo zamocowany jest wirnik (4) z łopatami (3), przy czym przesłona (5) posiada ster kierunkowy w postaci dodatkowej powierzchni, wyprowadzony na zewnątrz poza obwód przesłony (5) oraz zamocowana jest na wale (1) turbiny tak, że porusza się obrotowo niezależnie od ruchu obrotowego wirnika (4). Ruchoma przesłona (5) wprawiana jest w ruch obrotowy poprzez oddziaływanie steru kierunkowego.
