Abstract

Cytokina czynnik wzrostu fibroblastów-1 (FGF-1), należy do dużej grupy białek liczącej 23 warianty o podobnej strukturze, pełniących pokrywające się, lecz nie identyczne funkcje. Pobudzają one podziały mitotyczne wielu typów komórek, spośród których najważniejsze to fibroblasty, komórki śródbłonka naczyń i keratynocyty. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sztucznie skonstruowana cząsteczka FGF-1 trzeciej generacji o ulepszonych właściwościach biologicznych i strukturalnych oraz o dodatkowych właściwościach pozwalających na osiągnięcie przewagi technologicznej.The cytokine fibroblast growth factor-1 (FGF-1) belongs to a large group of proteins with 23 variants of a similar structure, which perform overlapping but not identical functions. They stimulate mitotic division of many types of cells, among which the most important are fibroblasts, vascular endothelial cells and keratinocytes. The subject of the application is an artificially constructed third generation FGF-1 molecule with improved biological and structural properties as well as additional properties enabling technological advantage.
