Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób izolacji śluzu ślimaka Limax maximus, kompozycja a także zastosowanie śluzu do wytwarzania preparatów o właściwościach bakteriostatycznych i bakteriobójczych. Preparaty mogą być stosowane na skórę, jak i błony śluzowe zewnętrznie i wewnętrznie. Opisana metoda wykorzystuje powszechnie dostępny gatunek ślimaka, jest nieszkodliwa dla zwierząt, a dzięki zastosowaniu roztworów wodnych nie powoduje powstawania odpadów.
