Abstract

A method of producing material with photocatalytic and biocidal properties, containing spatially oriented titanium dioxide nanotubes modified with especially precious metals, consisting of exposure to forced electric current placed in an electrolyte containing ammonium fluoride and ethylene glycol of a titanium-containing substrate, cleaning the resulting material with ultrasounds, followed by drying and calcining in which the obtained material is coated with a water-in-oil microemulsion containing liquid hydrocarbons, surfactants, ions and / or nanoparticles of one or more metals, preferably two or three selected from the group silver, gold, platinum, palladium, ruthenium, copper, zinc, nickel, rhodium, tungsten, cobalt, iron in such an amount that the mutual weight ratio of metals is from 1: 1 to 1: 10, and then covered with a water-in-oil microemulsion containing liquid hydrocarbons, surfactants and a reducing reagent, then dried at 60-100 ° C for 0.5-24 hours, and then preferably calcined at 250- 750 ° C for 0.5-6 hours.
