Impulsowy sterownik (IS) złożony jest ze sterowanego łącznika (S) energoelektronicznego połączonego szeregowo z kondensatorem sterownika (Cs) i cewką sterownika (Ls), rdzeniową o magnetowodzie z materiału ferromagnetycznego.
