Do osnowy polimerowej stanowiącej akrylonitryl - butadien - styren (ABS) w postaci proszku w ilości poniżej 90% masowych wprowadzono drobnoziarnisty perlit w ilości poniżej 20% masowych oraz modyfikator udarności stanowiący elastomer styren - butadien - styren (SBS) w ilości do 10% masowych, po czym tak otrzymaną kompozycję ujednorodniono i zhomogenizowano w temperaturze około 200 (± 5)°C, a następnie w dalszym procesie wytłaczania w temperaturze około 220 (± 5)°C jest wytwarzany granulat o wielkości ziaren od 1,5 do 2,5 mm i następujących właściwościach: wytrzymałość na rozciąganie od 25,7 do 41.6 MPa, moduł sprężystości przy statycznym rozciąganiu od 1170 do 2165 MPa, udarność z karbem Charpy'ego od 3,1 kJ/m2 do 9,2 kJ/m2.The subject of the application is a modified polymer composition with volcanic mineral material - perlite.
