Komora do badań ciśnieniowych, mająca postać wolnostojącego obiektu budowlanego, zawierająca cztery ściany (2), (3) oraz dach (4) i wyposażona w drzwi (5), a ponadto w przynajmniej jeden wylot gazów powybuchowych, przystosowany do uniemożliwiania wyrzucania nim z kabiny odłamków po eksplozji badanego elementu ciśnieniowego, charakteryzuje się tym, że jej ściany czołowe (2), boczne (3) i dach (4) są osłonięte od wewnętrznej strony komory przez elastyczno-sprężyste segmentowe kotary (16), zawieszone na konstrukcji wsporczej w odstępie od ścian czołowych (2) i bocznych (3) oraz podwieszone poniżej dachu (4) w części stanowiącej poddasze. Kotara (16), usytuowana w sąsiedztwie ścian czołowych (2) i bocznych (3), jest oparta o obwodową poręcz (17), wspartą na słupkach (18) osadzonych w podłodze oraz jest w swej górnej części przymocowana do konstrukcji wsporczej poniżej segmentowych łapaczy (13) i luźno zwisa ku dołowi, jednakże bez kontaktu z podłogą kabiny, a jej segmenty zachodzą na siebie w postaci zakładek.
