Zgłoszenie dotyczy kompozycji kosmetycznej zawierającej mieszaninę biotyny i ekstraktu z korzenia żeń-szenia właściwego, w której stosunek wagowy biotyny do ekstraktu z korzenia żeń-szenia wynosi od 9,5:1 do 10,5:1 i która korzystnie stanowi 0,055% wag. całkowitej masy kompozycji. Kompozycja ta znajduje zastosowanie w zapobieganiu wypadaniu włosów i stymulowaniu ich wzrostu.
