Abstract

Application electromagnetic levitator, the module of which is illustrated in the figure, is characterized by the fact that: between two identical coils - upper and lower - aligned poles in one line, connected to power sources and an electronic controller, by means of which the intensity of flowing currents change through the coils and their directions, a differentiation of the intensity of the magnetic fields that make up the magnetic field between the coils arises, thanks to which the coils travel different paths at the same time. Manipulating the intensity of currents flowing through the coils and the direction of their flow, we get an ordered movement of these coils in the desired direction, mainly upwards against the force of gravitational attraction, without recoil force. The module consists of two coils in casings on the periphery, which are mounted external guides in the shape of C-profiles, in which internal guides in the shape of cuboids are placed, so that the coils can move freely independent of each other. The modules are combined into groups that form a drive.
