Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of modification of polypeptides, consisting in introducing a specific amino acid sequence (linker) into the amino acid sequence of a polypeptide. The subject of the application is also a connector which contains a highly reactive tanker residue that can be modified with commonly used reagents. The protein thus modified can serve as a carrier for the drug.
