Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób wykrywania obniżonego ryzyka zachorowania na raka prostaty, charakteryzujący się tym, że w próbce biologicznej pobranej od pacjenta bada się stężenie żelaza i ustala się stężenia żelaza w organizmie tego pacjenta, przy czym stwierdzenie, że stężenie żelaza w organizmie pacjenta leży w zakresie odpowiadającym stężeniu od 1114 do 1416 µg Fe / dm3 surowicy świadczy o obniżonym ryzyku zachorowania na raka prostaty.
