The essence of the industrial design is the new shape, ornamentation, color scheme, and material from which it is made. According to the design, the coffee table consists of a top and a base, where the top is a thick sheet of glass with an outline similar to a rectangle, and the base consists of two symmetrical elements, each consisting of a rectangular crossbar, at each end of which are perpendicular cylinders. The base elements are arranged at an angle and intersect each other, forming a cross, so that the lower cylinders of each form the base – the legs of the coffee table – while the upper ones provide support for the top. The base elements are made of metal, as shown in the attached illustrations, Fig. 1 and Fig. 3. Another variation of the design consists of a tabletop and a base, where the tabletop is a thick sheet of glass with a roughly rectangular outline, while the base consists of four elements, arranged at an angle and intersecting, forming a double cross, at the ends of which are perpendicular cylinders, with the central cylinders common to both crosses, joining them into a single unit. The three lower cylinders constitute the base – the legs of the table, while the three upper ones provide support for the tabletop. The base elements are made of metal, as shown in the attached illustration, Fig. 2. In another variation, the coffee table is composed of a top and a base, where the top is a thick sheet of glass with a roughly oval outline, and the base consists of two symmetrical elements, each consisting of a rectangular crossbar with cylinders perpendicular to it at each end. The base elements are arranged at an angle and intersect each other, forming a cross, so that the lower cylinders of each form the base – the legs of the coffee table – while the upper ones provide support for the top. The base elements are made of metal, as shown in the attached illustration, Fig. 4. In another variation, the coffee table is composed of a top and a base, where the top is a thick glass sheet with an outline close to a rectangle whose longer sides have arcs, while the base is composed of two symmetrical elements, each composed of a rectangular crossbar, at the ends of which are perpendicular cylinders. The base elements are arranged at an angle and intersect each other, forming a cross, so that the lower cylinders of each form the base (legs) of the coffee table, while the upper ones provide support for the top.
