Sposób audytowania stanu wiedzy, umiejętności i ostrożności pracowników oraz ich motywowania w programie "security awareness" charakteryzuje się tym, że tworzone są algorytmy automatycznego audytowania pracowników w adaptacyjnym w programie "security awareness" (1), gdzie wirtualny mentor (6) na podstawie wzorcowych programów motywacyjnych audytu bezpieczeństwa (2) tworzy indywidualne programy motywacyjne pracowników i kadry zarządzającej. Po czym wirtualny mentor (6) na podstawie macierzy budowania świadomości (4) oraz macierzy wymagań kształcenia (5) ustala listę z raportem ataków na komputer i dokonuje zmiany w macierzy. Następnie wirtualny mentor (6) opracowuje funkcje rozwoju motywacji (8) i przekazuje ją poprzez moduł powiadamiania pracownika (7).
