Przedmiotem niniejszego zgłoszenia jest ksantohumol lub jego farmaceutycznie dopuszczalna sól lub kompleks z metalem do zastosowania w leczeniu lub zapobieganiu i profilaktyce chorób hemoroidalnych. Zgłoszenie dotyczy także kompozycji farmaceutycznej do zastosowania w leczeniu lub zapobieganiu i profilaktyce chorób hemoroidalnych, zawierającej ksantohumol lub jego farmaceutycznie dopuszczalną sól lub kompleks z metalem jako składnik aktywny oraz co najmniej jedną farmaceutycznie dopuszczalną zaróbkę, rozczynnik albo nośnik.
