Rura płomieniowa opalanego wymiennika ciepła o kształcie zasadniczo okrągłym, posiadająca na bocznej powierzchni co najmniej dwa wgniecenia skierowane do jej wnętrza, charakteryzuje się tym, że każde wgniecenie (2) posiada dwie powierzchnie (3, 4) niewzdłużne, korzystnie poprzeczne albo ukośne względem osi rury (1) i zbieżne względem siebie w kierunku do wnętrza rury (1).
