Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób określenia ryzyka raka u kobiety z mutacją w genie BRCA1, obejmujący ustalenie wieku pacjentki, stanu hormonalnego, oraz ilościową oceną stężenia arsenu w próbce krwi. Ustalono, że istnieje korelacja między stężeniem arsenu we krwi pełnej a ryzykiem raków u kobiet będących nosicielkami mutacji w genie BRCA1 w zależności od wieku oraz stosowania hormonalnej antykoncepcji.
