Abstract

The subject of the application is a system for breeding insects, incubating insect eggs and rearing insect larvae, containing at least one storey, in which each storey comprises an outer container (11) and an inner container (12), the inner container (12) intended for storage insects (17) and breeding substrate (16), has a perforated bottom (15) and is placed in the outer container (11), so that when the inner container (12) is removed from the outer container (11), the culture substrate (16) and eggs (18) deposited by cultured insects can be displaced through holes in the perforated bottom (15) of the inner container (12), into the outer container (11), the diameter of the holes being equal to or less than 80% of the average abdomen diameter of the adult female of the cultured species insects and equal to or greater than 20% of the average abdomen diameter of an adult female of a bred insect species. The application also concerns the method of breeding insects, incubation of insect eggs and rearing of insect larval forms, as well as the application using this system.
