Suszarnia zawierająca komorę suszarniczą, połączoną z kolektorem słonecznym (2), wentylator (3) oraz układ sterowania wentylatora charakteryzuje się tym, że jej kolektor słoneczny (2) zawiera przepływową komorę powietrzną połączoną rurociągiem (7) z komorą suszarniczą, a wentylator (3) jest umieszczony na drodze przepływu strumienia powietrza z komory powietrznej do komory suszarniczej. Na dnie komory powietrznej są ogniwa fotowoltaiczne, zaś układ sterowania oraz wentylator (3) są co najmniej częściowo zasilane energią elektryczną wytworzoną w tych ogniwach.
