Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest odporny na erozję materiał degradowalny o ostrych krawędziach, wykorzystywany w narzędziach wiertniczych oraz sposób stosowania wspomnianego materiału degradowalnego. W szczególności wspomniany odporny na erozję materiał degradowalny o ostrych krawędziach stanowi rozpuszczalny kompozyt z matrycą metalową, który zawiera rozpuszczalny metal i rozproszony materiał wzmacniający, przy czym rozpuszczalny metal rozpuszcza się na drodze korozji elektrochemicznej. Wspomniany rozpuszczalny metal może zawierać co najmniej jeden element ze zbioru, do którego należą stop glinu, stop magnezu, stop cynku, stop bizmutu, stop cyny lub dowolną kombinację powyższych. Rozproszony materiał wzmacniający może stanowić materiał ceramiczny lub metal hartowany. Materiał ceramiczny może zawierać co najmniej jeden element wybrany ze zbioru, do którego należą: tlenek cyrkonu (w tym cyrkon mineralny), tlenek glinu (w tym topiony tlenek glinu, kompozyt tlenek glinu-chrom oraz szmergiel), węglik (w tym węglik wolframu, węglik krzemu, węglik tytanu oraz węglik boru), borek (w tym azotek boru, diborek osmu, borek renu, borek tytanu i borek wolframu), azotek (azotek krzemu i azotek glinu), diament syntetyczny, krzemionka, a także dowolna kombinacja powyższych.
